Ganz genau!! Nicht dass seine Sorge um die Konzerte größer ist als um seine Gesundheit. Aber wie schon gesagt, er wird schon wissen, was er sich zumuten kann und was nicht.
Gerade sind sehr unerfreuliche News rein geflattert......... Das F2F Konzert am kommenden Samstag wird verschoben.......... Elton geht es wohl immer noch nicht ganz gut. Hier ist die Meldung:
Legendary pop diva Elton John has had to postpone the Oakland stop of Face 2 Face - his joint concert tour with Billy Joel - scheduled for this Saturday, November 14. This follows similar news for concerts scheduled for Portland and Seattle earlier this month.
In an announcement just jointly released by music promoter Live Nation and the ORACLE arena, Sir Elton, 62, is acting under medical advice to curtail all activities until he fully recovers from a combination of e-coli bacterial infection and influenza. John was discharged from King Edward VII Hospital on November 6 and the illnes forced the cancellation of all his UK dates. He fully intended to meet his Bay Area engagements. No announcement has been made about the San Jose concert scheduled just three days after the now-postponed Oakland date.
schlechte nachrichten... aber ich denke es geht jetzt nurmehr darum fit für ein konzert zu werden.. zumindest hoffe ich das die krankheit selbst so gut wie überstanden ist...

Elton has been out of hospital for several days now. He is making a good recovery, but he is not yet quite well enough to perform.

SIR Elton John was forced to cancel yet ANOTHER concert yesterday after battling severe e.coli and flu - but he still hopes to be back in the spotlight tomorrow. The star, 62, had planned to join singer Billy Joel for a gig in California last night but doctors warned it was too soon to return to the stage following his recent stay in hospital. "They said he should take it easy as a precaution," a source revealed. Despite his debilitating illness, the frail singer-songwriter is determined to attend tomorrow's fund-raising gala in New York for the Elton John Aids Foundation. "It's an annual event and Elton never misses it," said our source. "He has been resting at home and is due to fly to New York today." Elton has postponed a string of his world tour gigs but hopes to reschedule some later.
Das erste ist meiner Meinung nach nicht aktuell, dürfte eher so um 2005 gewesen sein.... Das zweite ist relativ aktuell, allerdings war das bevor er krank wurde, glaube Anfang Oktober. Muss mal schauen, von dem Abend gibts noch mehr Fotos irgendwo....
