November 18, 2010 Union Chapel Absolute Elton Rocket tickets Rocket tickets for Elton's exclusive solo London performance By the Editor/eltonjohn.com On Thursday, November 25, Elton will play an exclusive solo concert for listeners of Absolute Radio. In the atmospheric surroundings of the appropriately named Union Chapel in Islington, London, Elton will perform tracks from The Union, as well as classics from his back catalogue. The show will be hosted by Absolute Radio Breakfast Show DJ Christian O'Connell.
Absolute Radio has very kindly allocated a number of tickets for Rocket members, and we will be distributing them on a first come, first served basis. The tickets are complimentary, but we are asking Rocket members to donate £10 per ticket which will be given to Elton John's UK Charitable Foundation. This Foundation supports a wide range of charities, both within the United Kingdom and overseas.
If you would like to apply for tickets, send an email with the subject line Union Chapel Tickets immediately to The Editor stating whether you would like one or two tickets, and including your postal address and telephone number. If you are one of the lucky ones, we will reply by email and ask you to send us a cheque for the charitable donation of £10 or £20, and we will give you further details about the event. You will then be added to the guest list for the concert. Please note the following: • You have to be a Rocket member to apply for these tickets. If you are not a member, your application will be void. •There is a maximum of two tickets per Rocket member.

Es war wesentlich kürzer als normalerweise aber diese Setlist lässt doch hoffen, dass er im Solo-Teil der kommenden Ray Cooper Shows auch einige neue Songs spielen wird?!?! BITTEEEE ELTON!!!
also ich könnte mich mit der setlist für den solopart anfreunden, mein lieblingslied ist dabei und zumindest finde ich zwei der vier songs vom neuen album, die er gespielt hat, auch gut und würde sie gerne hören
(anmerkung: lieblingslied = i'm still standing; neues album = when love is dying und the best part of the day)

Auf eltonfan.net ist ein Bericht vom gestrigen Konzert, von dem das hier ist: Although the show was shorter than we are used to, Absolute Radio's Christian O'Connell said after that Elton was supposed to play for 30 minutes and that his nearly 90 minute set ran past the scheduled curfew.
