Ich bin hin und weg von dem Face to Face Konzert in Hartford 2002! Das ist ein tolles M.Konzert. Schade, dass die beiden nicht mehr zusammen auf Tour gehen.

hi ich habe auf eltonjohnnews.blogspot.com gelesen das elton angeblich bei dem konzert in konstanz zu einem fan gesagt hat, nACHDEM DER gefragt hat ob elton 2009 in deutscvhland touren ,wird, dass er mit "billy" touren wird...wenn das wahr ist heisst das das er entweder mit billy joel eine neue f2f tour starten wird oder das er mit billie elliot in deutschland touren wird... also ich bin gespannt ob das so sein wird weil ich hab inzwischen auch die aufzeichnung vom konzert in hartord und bin begeistert... naja ich wurde auch nach d kommen um mir das anzusehen... lg thomas

During his interview on ABC TV's 'The View' yesterday, Elton announced that he and Billy Joel and their bands are to return to the road in 2009 for more Face to Face concerts.
The tour will begin in the USA in March 2009, and Elton and Billy will perform across the southern states and the west coast during that month. In May and later in 2009 Elton and Billy will head back to the USA for more concerts, and in 2010 the tour will cover more of North America, and then continue into other continents.
Elton said, "Billy and I will go out next year for at least two years on and off, all over the world. It's something I've looked forward to for a long time. I love touring with him - we're both such good friends."
As soon as the dates are confirmed we will publish them on the Concerts and Tickets page. We will have an allocation of Rocket tickets for ALL the forthcoming Elton John/Billy Joel concerts.

ein F2F-Konzert wird sicherlich das Highlight des Jahres 2010. Aber so wie es ausschaut, muss NRW zunächst mal im kommenden Jahr ohne Elton John auskommen. Wirklich schade.
ich hab nur angst das die tickets wirklich wie warme semmeln weggehen dürften... doppelt so schnell halt..weil die die-hard fans von billy und elton sofort kaufen^^ naja mal sehen.. noch gibts ja keine termine.. bei der letzten F2F-Tour haben die beiden 100 Millionen eingenommen... lg thomas
da Deutschland ja auch definitiv auf der Erde liegt, kommen wir wohl auch in den Genuss einer oder mehrerer F2F-Shows. Und bezahlbar sollen die Tickets laut nachfolgenden Text dann auch sein.
Elton and Billy Joel's upcoming tour will last "at least two years and go all over the world," Elton announced on "The View" on November 11, 2008.
Joel confirmed the tour late last month at a benefit for Charity Begins at Home, but didn't release specific dates. Elton said that the tour would begin in March 2009.
"It’s something I’ve looked forward to for a long time," Elton said. "We haven’t done it in a while. I love touring with him. I have the greatest respect for him. We’re both such good friends. It’s two people for the price of one. Our ticket prices are the same as you’d see anyone else, but there’s two of us. In this day and age, we hope to be getting people value for their money."
As part of the warm-up for the tour, Joel has set up some solo dates -- at the Hard Rock Casino in Hollywood, FL, in January 2009, and a Valentine's Day 2009 show at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. Tickets for those shows are now on sale through Ticketmaster. Joel, who says he has been practicing John's songs again to get ready for the tour, is currently in the middle of his tour of Asia and Australia, set for Hong Kong tomorrow night.
Wir bekommen garantiert Karten und wenn es heißt, sich die Nacht vor einer der Vorverkaufsstellen um die Ohren schlagen zu müssen - EGAL!!!;-)) Und eben, wenn wir keine Hardcore-Fans sind, dann weiß ich es auch nicht..=D
Wegen den Preisen bin ich dann auch gespannt. Mal sehen, was die Veranstalter dazu sagen...;-))) Auf jeden Fall bekommt man echt was geboten für sein Geld; die F2F Konzerte dauern gut 3 Stunden!! Hatte die Hoffnung echt schon aufgegeben, die beiden mal zusammen erleben zu dürfen, und jetzt ist die Wahrscheinlichkeit dazu richtig in greifbare Nähe gerückt, absolut KLASSE!!!!!!!!
