This morning whilst out driving to an appointment I heard on the radio that Elton will be interviewed on the radio by Chris Evans on BBC Radio 2 on Friday 28th January. I do believe the broadcast begins at 7:30am and goes onto 9:30am GMT.
Some sad news announced today by Elton. Whilst speaking live on BBC Radio 2 where he was co-hosting the Chris Evans show , he said that George Hill had passed away last week. The funeral is today.
George employed Elton ( as Reg Dwight) for his first gig at the Northwood Hills Hotel....so in effect started the "Elton John " story.
It was great that Elton acknowledged George "live" on national radio this morning, and sent his condoloences to his family. Apparently Elton has sent some flowers.
