As an EJAF supporter, you will be pleased to learn that the Foundation has received its fifth consecutive 4-star rating from Charity Navigator. According to the letter EJAF has received from Ken Berger, President and CEO of Charity Navigator, "Only 5% of the charities we rate have received at least 5 consecutive 4-star evaluations, indicating that EJAF consistently executes its mission in a fiscally responsible way, and outperforms most other charities in America."
I cannot begin to express how very proud I am that EJAF has received this ringing endorsement from America's premier charity evaluator. During these uncertain economic times, this evaluation by Charity Navigator also provides independent assurance that donations entrusted to EJAF will be well and properly invested in HIV prevention programs.
EJAF has accomplished a great deal over the past 18 years. However, we still have a lot of work to do to fulfill our mission of serving vulnerable at-risk populations without judgment, to reduce HIV-related stigma and discrimination, to educate people about HIV/AIDS, and to support science-based, culturally appropriate HIV prevention programming.
Ultimately, we cannot let uncertain financial times stop us from continuing our efforts to address a deadly global epidemic that no one can afford to ignore. This is what EJAF has been doing with great success for the past 18 years, and we are depending on you to help us maintain our momentum. I invite you to make a donation today, knowing that your dollars will indeed be wisely and usefully invested:
Through this latest achievement, I sincerely hope we have demonstrated very clearly that you HAVE made a difference and that you can CONTINUE to make a difference in the lives of people affected by HIV/AIDS through your contributions to EJAF.
Ehrengäste sind u.a. Schauspielerin Elizabeth Hurley und David Furnish, Lebenspartner von Elton John und Kurator der Elton John AIDS Foundation, jener Organisation der die Haupteinnahmen des Red Ribbon Cotillion für HIV/AIDS Projekte in der Ukraine zu Gute kommt.
