Gerade habe ich mir meine Bilder vom Konzert in Stuttgart im Juli angeschaut.
Dabei ist mir ein Bild besonders aufgefallen.
Ich finde es zeitg Guy in seinem Element.

habe ich soeben entdeckt (u.a. eine sammlung diverser interviews mit guy); weiß nicht, ob Ihr das schon kennt...

Bald ist es fas 1 Jahr her !wenn ich zurückdenke er fehlt wirklich sehr !ich hab im leider nur1 mal live gesehen obwohl ich Elton 4 mal gesehen habe!
Er war wirklich ein sehr wichtiger teil der EJ band (pinball wizard...).Trotzdem stand er eher im hintergrund .In interviews imn
videos bemerkt was für ein netter mensch er war:

aber trotzdem muss man Kim bullard auch ein Kompliment machen ,dass er sich so schnell in die band eingefunden hat und das war bestimmt alles andere als leicht die ganzen Stücke auswendig zu lernen!

Morgen ist es genau ein Jahr her, dass Guy von uns gegangen
Ich möchte Euch bitten, ein paar Worte (wenn es geht in englisch) an Kathy Brown-Babylon hier ins Forum zu schreiben.
Diese Zeilen möchte ich im Laufe dieser Woche an Kathy per Email schicken.

Dear Kathy,

We can hardly imagine that already one year has passed since Guy is no longer with us! It is just unbelievable!
For his fans he wasn't only a keyboardist in Elton John's Band ... Guy was a genius that can hardly be replaced!

He will always be in our minds!

To remember and pay tribute to Guy Babylon - a fantastic keyboardist and musician - we found a short poem:


Sometimes I do cry for him
and spill a thousand tears
Sometimes I know we'll meet again
even if in a thousand years.


With these few words we would like to show you and your family our deepest compassion.
